The next problem, early
Cost dashboards were built for humans reviewing last month. That world is ending: AI agents now spend your budget (LLM and GPU bills nobody meters) and increasingly change your infrastructure (plans written and applied faster than humans can review). The question of the next five years is not "what did we spend?" — it is "who referees the software that spends and changes?"
One runaway agent loop can burn thousands in API calls over a weekend. AI Governor tracks spend per model and enforces daily circuit breakers that cap it automatically. Your AI budget gets a fuse — before the invoice, not after.

Agents are starting to write and apply infrastructure changes. blastcheck, our open-source MCP server, lets an agent (or your CI) submit a Terraform plan and get a blast-radius verdict before anything lands — and CloudRift scores proposed changes against your actual scanned estate: what the change touches, what depends on it, what it will cost.
blastcheck-mcp is open source on PyPI
Nothing in CloudRift changes your infrastructure without explicit human approval — including our own automation. Deletion runs through two approval gates. In a world where software acts, the approval gate is the product.

Why us and not the dashboards? Refereeing agents takes machinery visibility tools never built: an evidence engine that can justify a verdict, an execution layer with hard approval gates, and change-impact scoring against a live model of your estate. CloudRift has all three in production — the dashboards would have to become a different product.
